Adjusting the alignment between the blade and the miter slot of your table saw is the most important step in improving accuracy. The next is aligning your rip fence. With all three elements parallel, your saw is ready to deliver precise cuts. Woodpeckers Saw Gauge 2.0 makes these adjustments easier and more accurate than ever. What sets the Saw Gauge 2.0 apart is its patented miter slot registration system. Miter slots vary widely in size and tolerance, but by dropping two polished pins in the bottom of the slot and placing a larger pin between them, the center pin stays precisely centered regardless of slot width or variation. Drop the pins in the slot, adjust the arm so the dial indicator touches the blade, and check the front and back. The basic arm provides over 5" of travel, ideal for blade alignment. Add the extension and you can check rip fence alignment up to 20" from the miter slot. Extra-long track connectors ensure rigidity and straightness throughout the measurement range.
